Today we’re celebrating International Women in Engineering Day, all the wonderful female engineers that we have here and the amazing contribution they make. We wanted to shine the spotlight on five of them as part of our marking of the day. So please meet…
- Toni Haywood, Engineering Shift Manager
- Radhika Patel, Process Lead
- Jill Carson, Tech Services Rep
- Jennifer Wilson, Line Lead
- Evie Smith, Technician Engineer
Toni, Radhika, Jill, Jennifer and Evie want to inspire the next generation of women in engineering. They tell us about the passion they have for their chosen field, and the satisfaction and enjoyment they get from the job and working here.
Female engineers are still hugely under-represented in the U.K., with 2021 figures indicating they only represent 16.5% of all engineers. The day is all about promoting their work across the globe and encouraging more women to take up the career path.
We’ve already partnered with Women in STEM at Aston University and the Women in Engineering Society to promote the Molson Coors culture and roles. With our Women in Engineering films, we’ll be able to shout even louder about it and encourage more women to think about engineering careers at Molson Coors.
