✓ Miller High Life is releasing a beer-infused vinyl record
✓ The limited-edition 25-minute album features original songs mixed in with the unmistakable sounds and atmosphere of a great dive bar
✓ The brand has a full schedule of music partnerships for the rest of the year
This year Miller High Life is celebrating the moments where music and The Champagne of Beers meet with “The Soundtrack to the High Life,” a year-long program where it will partner with major music brands and sponsor the tour of the chart-topping and Grammy-nominated Teddy Swims.
To kick the platform off and really drive the message, the brand found a way to literally combine music and beer. Available soon is “Dive Bar Sounds” an original vinyl record infused with actual Miller High Life.
Yes, you read that correctly.
“This is the first-ever beer-infused vinyl record made with The Champagne of Beers inside,” says Associate Marketing Manager Joel Salgado. “The clear vinyl allows the essence of Miller High Life to shine through while you hold it or play it on your turntable.”
Even though the album contains real beer, it is meant to be played. The 25-minute record replicates the ambiance and music commonly heard in a classic dive bar. Salgado says that the brand has a natural affinity with America’s neighborhood bars.
“Music has always been part of the High Life story, especially in dive bars across America, where every opened bottle of The Champagne of Beers adds another note to countless memorable nights,” he says.
The record starts with the sound of someone entering a bar, before the satisfying twist, pop and hiss of a bartender opening a bottle of Miller High Life is heard.
It includes new songs recorded by musician Brendan Lynch-Salamon, including “Welcome to the Dive,” “Regular’s Remix” and “Champagne Nights.” He even tosses in a faithful cover of Miller High Life’s classic 70s jingle, “If You've Got the Time,” before breaking into a rocking instrumental variation.
“The record captures the genuine atmosphere of neighborhood spots across America – from the clink of bottles to the hum of neon signs – and transforms them into original tracks that let you experience the High Life anywhere, anytime,” Salgado says.
Each record costs $18, about the price of a 24 pack of Miller High Life. But only 200 of the limited-edition and beer-infused vinyl records will be sold.
A limited number of the records will be released over four days. To purchase, 21+ consumers can pre-order by visiting millerhighlife.com/divebarsounds starting on April 10 at 12 p.m. ET. Pre-orders will also be taken on April 11, 15 and 16, while supplies last.
Once the vinyl record sells out, the full “Dive Bar Sounds” album will be released on streaming services, including Spotify, TouchTunes, and YouTube.
‘Soundtrack to the High Life’
Salgado says that the beer-infused record is just the beginning of a packed year of music for the brand.
As announced in October, Miller High Life is the official beer sponsor of Teddy Swims’ 2025 North American tour, which kicks off on May 9 in Hollywood, FL. The brand has concert promotions live now and will have a visible presence throughout the tour, along with retail and digital tools featuring Swims.
Miller High Life continues its partnership with TouchTunes, which has over 50,000 digital jukeboxes in bars nationwide. It will also partner with the iconic American guitar company Fender to create a custom High Life-branded guitar giveaway. More details about those partnerships will be released soon.
Salgado says that the program is all about celebrating the moments where music and Miller High Life naturally come together.
“The ‘Soundtrack to the High Life’ is all about bringing Miller High Life’s celebratory spirit to music fans everywhere,” says Salgado. “From our innovative beer-infused vinyl to the exciting sponsorship of Teddy Swims’ North American Tour, and partnerships with TouchTunes and Fender, we’re creating authentic music experiences that welcome fans to live the High Life through the universal language of music.”
