Arnold Palmer Spiked Half & Half is going to need a second tee time.
The brand today said it is launching Arnold Palmer Spiked Raspberry Half & Half, its fifth flavor, in 24 markets this month.
Sold in 24-ounce single cans and checking in at 5% alcohol by volume, the new version adds a splash of natural raspberry flavor to the classic taste of iced tea and lemonade flavor of the original Arnold Palmer Half & Half, which debuted in 2018 and has grown each year since, according to IRI data.
“The hard tea market is booming, and consumers are looking for fresh innovations from the brands they already know and love,” says Marissa Meliker, associate marketing manager of flavored malt beverages at Molson Coors.
Arnold Palmer Spiked Raspberry is the fifth flavor of the franchise, joining the original Half & Half, Arnold Palmer Spiked Lite, Arnie’s Spiked Iced Tea and Arnie’s Spiked Lemonade.
Molson Coors will support the brand’s launch with a social and digital campaign, as well as retail support, Meliker says.
The beverage is made in partnership between Molson Coors and Hornell Brewing, a unit of iced-tea maker AriZona Beverages, and will be sold in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C.
