Molson Coors has a proud heritage of employing and supporting U.S. veterans. The Molson Coors Veteran Group is an employee resource group that includes as its members more than 700 veterans and allies dedicated to celebrating the diversity of veteran experience and empowering veterans in our communities. As we celebrate National Veteran and Military Families Month, we're spotlighting our Veteran team members who make our company stronger.
Meet Jeremy Cory, Line Lead at our Albany brewery who served in the U.S. Air Force.
What does Veterans Day mean to you?
Being a Veteran means that I was part of something bigger, that I served my country and family well. Serving my country was an honor and a privilege.
In a few sentences can you describe your military experience?
I started my military experience right out of high school. I got to work on three airframes: F-15s, F-16s and F-22s. I have been to more than 10 countries and served in Afghanistan. I met people from all over the world and made some great friends all while being supported by my wife of 21 years and two kids.
How have you used your experiences and knowledge from your time in the military at Molson Coors?
The military has given me leadership and people skills that I use every day. My aircraft experience translates well in the understanding of equipment and a high-speed production environment. Additionally, the military taught me how to be inclusive and diverse.
