Coors Light this week dropped its limited-edition six-packs of Coors Light brewed with pop superstars Jonas Brothers.
Available via an online retailer in five U.S. markets — Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Tampa, Fla., and Nashville, Tenn. — the beer has custom labels emblazoned with the faces of the Jonas Brothers. It is line-priced with Coors Light six-packs.
The batch was brewed in early October at the Coors brewery in Golden, Colo., with Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas teaming up with Coors brewers and Coors brothers David and Peter. The Jonases helped mash, sparge, pitch yeast and add hops to the brew.
“The Jonas Brothers absolutely love Coors Light, so it only made sense for us to invite them out to Golden to brew a batch of their favorite beer,” says Katie Lombardi, marketing manager for Coors Light. “The limited-edition bottles are the latest stage in our partnership with the Jonas Brothers, and we can’t wait for consumers to get their hands on the product.”
The collaboration brew is part of a longtime love affair between Coors Light and Jonas Brothers, Coors Light superfans who are amid a global tour supporting "Happiness Begins," the group’s fifth studio album and first since 2013’s "Live."
As the brothers reemerged in the public eye, they’ve often been seen toting Coors Light, which makes frequent cameos in their Instagram feeds. This year alone, Coors Light wrapped in custom labels made an appearance at Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s wedding reception in France. And Kevin Jonas was featured holding a bottle of Coors Light in the band’s “Only Human” music video.
